Welcome to Tarot, Divination and Oracle section of Crystalscense, we will give you a brief account on how one could choose the cards or runes that will help you to move forward on your journey with the Tarot or other divination system of your choice.

Tarot cards are one of the oldest and most common methods used for divination, to explain divination simply, it is the art of making apparent information that is hidden or not immediately obvious.

The principle of Tarot is to allow the seeker to have information in the present or near future that that can be acted upon to ones benefit.
Most normally a tarot deck consists of 2 sections, the first containing 22 cards known as the Major Arcana, the second containing 56 cards known as the Minor Arcana.
The Major Arcana representing important or major life events and the Minor Arcana representing every day situations and emotions.

Instruction books are great like the Tarot Bible to help you get started on your journey with the Tarot. We would suggest eventually that you will be able to read to a deeper level by using your intuition, which would be a good way to buy your first deck, look for one that really appeals to you.

So when you are laying out the cards in a particular spread, how does the spread make you feel, or what does this or that card remind you of or make you feel, be open to these new ideas or feeling coming into your perception, you could even have an idea completely unrelated to a particular card, could have something to do with queerant or questioner.
Be open to these, remember that these questions may and will help you to connect to your inner knowing and give good readings.
